Membership and your responibilities.

Being a member of this forum has it's responibilities.

I want everyone on the forum to get along and to derive a lot of support from everyone else. To this end there are some basic, enforcable rules that must be adhered too.. these are

• Be responsible for what you post, and remember that you're accountable for it. Once you post it, the content will be in the public domain and you loose any rights to that data.

• Pick a username that's appropriate and don't tell anyone your password. If your account is compromised we can delete it, that is it. So if your posts or messages are important to you keep them backed up yourself. We are not responsible for that

• Use a complex and unique password to keep your account safe. Do not log on if you think your device is compromised.

• Your profile should be accurate and clean. We'll remove anything that's vulgar or inaccurate and ban you from using our services. We do check profiles.

• We'll record your IP address in case we need to ban you from the forum or contact your internet service provider. If you do something illegal then we have a duty to report that to the authorities where you are, this includes your internet provider and the local law enforcement agency. We will not allow any single individual to compromise the integrity of our service for the other users

• We'll protect ourselves if you make us go to court because of something you said on the forum. We will demonstrate your acceptance of the rules and that you indemnify us against anything you  may do

• Our software will use cookies to keep you logged in and it collects or send other tracing information from your computer. This is only used to make the service better and we never sell any data we gather from our users, that includes email or other private information

• You can choose whether or not to receive emails about new posts, topics, and private messages.

• We may send you a monthly newsletter, and the admins and staff may message you too. You agree to accept these communications

• The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this forum or its staff. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately via the report this post option at the bottom of every message.

• Myself and my moderators of this forum reserve the right to remove or edit objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that doing so is warranted. This is a manual process, however, please realize that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to member profile information as well.

Above all, keep it friendly and supportive.. If that is your attitude then we are going to get along just great!
